Mr. Vanderhorst worked as a law clerk and then as
an associate attorney in the Law Office of Richard Rossen in the Century
City area of Los Angeles. Mr. Rossen's practice was primarily personal
injury, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Mr. Vanderhorst learned
very much from his friend and mentor and from his ten years of association
with Mr. Rossen.
In 1993, Mr. Vanderhorst moved to Porterville, his
wife's hometown. He was first associated with local criminal defense
attorney James Heusdens. After one year, Mr. Vanderhorst opened his own
office at its current location, 288 North "D" Street.
Mr. Vanderhorst's law practice continues to
emphasize representation of personal injury victims including automobile
accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall injuries, product injuries,
and medical malpractice. He also represents criminal defendants for all
misdemeanors and most felonies. He also represents various clients in
civil litigation matters including the formation or dissolution of
partnerships, landlord-tenant disputes, and real estate and probate
matters.
Mr. Vanderhorst's office has grown such that he
now has two locations. In addition to his Porterville office he has
recently opened an office in downtown Delano at 818 11th Avenue, which is
near the corner of 11th Avenue and Main Street in Delano. Mr. Vanderhorst
looks forward to your inquiry and an opportunity to assist you with your
legal matters.
